The following chart was compiled as part of the Offbeat 100 celebrations in May 2004. We shortlisted 40 tracks from our past playlists, attempting to include tracks from different eras and of different styles, united by the fact that they'd all been hugely popular on our dance-floor at one time or another in the preceding 7 1/2 years.
