1) All merchandise for sale here is sold at cost-price; we do not make a profit on any of it.
2) The other promotional items featured, such as the various stickers, fanzines and games, were 'one-off' productions free to those attending particular Offbeats, and are no longer available.

We have two principal designs; occasional limited edition badges may also appear to commemorate special events or just because we've had a new idea.

Firstly our enduring 'Offbeat Boy' and 'Offbeat Girl' design. Pictured below, they are available from us at Offbeat priced 50p each, or if you'd prefer to order by post then simply email us now. Both come in two colours; boys dayglo yellow and dayglo green; girls dayglo pink and dayglo orange. We currently have plenty of all colours in stock.

The 'Keep it Peel!' badge, to mark the passing of John Peel in October 2004. These were given away free at Offbeat, Friday 29th October, 2004. Thanks to Lucy Young for lending us her Badge-it machine, enabling these to be made at very short notice. These badges have now all been given away; no reprint is planned

Limited edition 'Offbeat 100' badge, to celebrate the 100th Offbeat in May 2004. Priced at 25p each and on sale at the Offbeat 100 weekender. Available in 4 different colours (white, purple, lime-green and blue). These badges have now sold out.

A limited edition 'In da cub' badge (pictured right) is available to celebrate our 7th birthday, priced 25p. As ever, thanks to John Hunt in Glasgow for sorting out the production at the legendary Arthur's!

There was a very limited edition badge (pictured right) available only at our 6th birthday party on 31st January 2003. Thanks as ever to Susan Vennard for the designs and for John Hunt in Glasgow for sorting out the production at his local badge-makers!

The 2000 design Offbeat badges were available in the six designs pictured below. Artwork was by our resident Offbeat artist Susan, they are 3.5cm in diameter and cost 25p each. These have now all sold out. 'Boy' badges were dayglo yellow and 'girl' badges were dayglo pink.

Thanks again to Susan Vennard and Paul Trimmer for their help with badge design, to Signrite who produced the 1998 and 2000 badges, Forever Changes Records and Paul Maher, who produced the first and second editions of the logo button badges respectively, and to Arthur's in Glasgow and John Hunt, who respectively produced/arranged production all the other designs.


Offbeatopoly Board Game

...Was a very limited edition Offbeat board game, available free to the first 30 or so people in at Offbeat on June 6th, 2000.
Pictured below are the illustrations and introduction on the back of the game board. All illustrations pictured are by Susan Vennard; recognition and much respect to Sarah Records whose Saropoly game we shamelessly adapted!


Offbeat Top Trumps

...were available free to a limited number of Offbeat-goers on a first-come first-served basis at the Offbeat nights held during Spring 2001. There were 40 cards to collect and play with, featuring your favourite indie stars. Each card has ratings out of 100 for the featured artiste on 5 different categories; chart success, indie cred', snogability, stage presence and staying power.
Offbeat Top Trumps was another joint production with Susan Vennard (artistry) and John Hunt (production) - a small selection of the cards are pictured below.


Other games, etc.

Indiepopoly game, February 2007
Limited edition of 10, for the winners of the quiz at the Offbeat 10th Birthday party. Basically an indie version of Monopoly, with bands to sign, clubs and arenas to build, etc.

Comes complete with Bank of Offbeat money, Band Contracts and Chance Cards, and all the playing pieces you would expect. Every indie kid would love one, only 10 can have one...

Stickers feature 6 different Pulp line ups from 1981 to 2001. The wallchart featured a Pulp timeline on one side (to which the stickers were applied), and a Pulp map of Sheffield on the other.

Rough Trade, October 2004
Limited edition of 40 available at Offbeat, October 29th, 2004, which featured a 'Rough Trade hour'. Fanzine features Offbeaters, RT staff, music journalists, and Rough Trade artists picks of their Rough Trade favourite releases, a label discography, Jeffrey Lewis's amazing comic strip 'story of Rough Trade', short reviews of the 20 Rough Trade tracks to be played at Offbeat that night, plus 6 stickers. Limited reprint after featuring in 'The Fly' magazine 'best fanzines of the month' column, January 2005.

The Offbeat A to Z of Indie, Spring 2002
This consisted of 27 limited edition stickers (one for each letter of the alphabet and an extra one!), plus a nifty little sticker album-fanzine. Stickers were given out free at the Offbeat nights held between February and March, 2002. Different stickers were made available on the following dates; Friday 1st February, Friday 15th February, Friday 1st March, Friday 22nd March.

The Offbeat 2000 sticker collection, Spring 2000
This consisted of 15 limited edition stickers, featuring the sounds of Offbeat, given out free at the Offbeat nights held between March and June 2000. Different stickers were made available at each night on the following dates; Friday 3rd March, Friday 17th March, Friday 7th April, Friday 12th May, Friday 26th May, Tuesday 6th June. The more Offbeats you attended, the more chance you had of collecting the full set. A wallchart to display your stickers on was available on June 6th.

Offbeat 100 beer

To celebrate our 100th Offbeat in May 2004, the Abbeydale Brewery produced a very limited edition 'Offbeat 100' ale!

There was a barrel for each night of the Offbeat 100 weekender, and it was on sale during the previous week at The Devonshire Cat on Wellington Street and The Fox and Duck in Broomhill.
